The field below this, called the ΓÇ£Files to ImportΓÇ¥ list, contains the names of the files to be imported. This field is already filled with the names of the files uploaded with this stack. You should put all of the files in one folder and fill out the search path to lead to that folder.
When this is done, simply press the ΓÇ£Import FortunesΓÇ¥ button, and all nine hundred plus fortunes will be read in. This takes a few minutes.
The format of the import files is simple. The first character of the first
line of the file contains the delimiter character. This can be any character that is not used in any of the fortunes themselves (I use the ΓÇÿ@ΓÇÖ character in my import files). This is followed by the first fortune, followed by a line containing the delimiter character, followed by the second fortune, followed by the delimiter character, etc. The last character in the file should also be the delimiter character.
